What can iListen summarize?

iListen can summarize online articles or webpages into audio summaries. Use the Chrome extension or paste a URL into the web app to generate a summary. At this stage, we can only summarize URLs; PDFs, YouTube videos, and standalone audio pieces aren’t supported yet (they’re on the roadmap).

Can I customize my iListen podcast summary?

Yes. You can choose your preferred voice or accent and select the summary type (Brief, Overview, or Detailed). You can also adjust the podcast length during personalization and tweak playback speed after generation.

What are iListen's subscription plans and pricing?

Casual: $3.99 per month (billed annually) for up to 30 podcasts per month, with Brief or Overview summaries, plus a 14-day free trial.

Enthusiast: $9.99 per month (billed annually) for up to 75 podcasts per month, with Brief, Overview, or Detailed summaries, plus a 14-day free trial.

Executive - Accessibility for Organisations: $100 per month (billed annually) for organisations, featuring Tailored Easy Read and Audio outputs, multilingual summaries and audio translation, plus a free organisation trial.

How do I start using iListen?

Step One – Begin: Enter the webpage URL you want to transform, or download the Chrome extension and let it handle the summarisation as you browse.

Step Two – Personalise: Choose your favourite voice/accent and adjust the podcast length to match your preference.

Step Three – Enjoy: Generate your podcast with a click. Your podcasts are stored in your Library, accessible via the web app for listening anytime, anywhere.

How do I check my iListen podcast usage?

Go to iListen Settings -> Subscription. It will show how many podcast summaries you have remaining for that month based on your plan.

How do I save and access my audio summaries?

All audio summaries generated (via the web app or Chrome extension) are automatically saved in your Library, so you can revisit them anytime from the web app.

Is there an option for organisations or multilingual support?

Yes. The Executive - Accessibility for Organisations plan includes Tailored Easy Read & Audio outputs, multilingual summaries and audio translation, and offers a free organisation trial.
